First you will be greeted by your private English speaking tour guide and professional driver at the airport upon your arrival. Drive to the city center of Beijing (around 1 hour driving) you can discuss with your private tour guide what you prefer to do. Then you can visit the National Center for the Performing Arts which is an architectural work designed by a French architect: Paul Andreu. People give it a lovely nickname "the Egg Building" because of its shape. It will be lighted up in the night or even you can see the fountain surrounding it.
After that walk to the Qianmen Street which is a busy street in Xuanwu District in Beijing. It is a narrow street, only 300 meters long. Both sides of the street are crowded with stores which are busy with visitors coming and going everyday. It is a flourishing old street with many special time-honored shops passed down from older generations.
