KW Institute for Contemporary Art is one of the most important institutions for contemporary art in Germany. KW has no collection of its own: instead, it sees itself much more as a laboratory for the presentation of exhibitions, artist ateliers and the latest events in national and international contemporary culture.
Michael Fuchs Galerie exhibits contemporary art and classical modernist works. Hosted in the former assembly hall and in two classrooms of the former Jewish Girl’s School in Berlin, the gallery shows changing solo and group exhibitions with various artists and themes.
Esther Schipper is a contemporary art gallery based in Berlin on Potsdamer Straße.
