Admission fee 500 yen per person During this experience, you will: Wander through atmospheric alleyways like Hanami-koji Street, where old wooden machiya (townhouses) still stand. Learn the true history and traditions of geisha and maiko, and how they continue to preserve centuries-old art forms. Visit charming shrines and small temples tucked between the buildings, each with unique legends and local meaning. Discover the best spots for photos — from lantern-lit streets to peaceful canals lined with willow trees.
