During this tasty tour, you will dig deep into Neapolitan food culture and see the city through its traditional cuisine. Strolling through the old and picturesque streets of Old Town you will stop in various local eateries, carefully selected by your knowledgeable guide. You will try the local specialties such as fried pizza, meatballs, ‘tarallo’, fish “baccalà” and much more. The classics of Neapolitan pastry such as “Baba” and “sfogliatelle” will enrich this delicious gastronomic experience. On your tour you will combine food tasting with sightseeing. Your guide will show you the best food spots as well as the most interesting landmarks of the city, including Via dei Tribunali, Piazza Bellini and Via San Gregorio Armeno.
The meeting point of the Street Food Tour is Piazza Bellini next to the Greek Walls. Named after the composer Vincenzo Bellini who studied at the Naples Conservatory, this square is a vibrant area full of students.
You will pass by one of the most important music school of taly formed in 1808.
You will see the beautiful baroque church built by the Dominicans in 17th century.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
Please make sure you arrive at the meeting point sharp on time. Naples is a very busy city, please, make sure to arrive on time, leave earlier your accommodation or you may lose the tour due traffic jams. We strongly suggest you to avoid reaching the city center by car (if so leave very early). If you are coming from the Amalfi Coast make sure to leave very early (at least 2h in advance, there are a lot of traffic jam on the way to Naples). It's NOT possible to join once the activity has started. This is key to ensuring the quality of your experience. PLEASE advise in advance if you require vegetarian meals or if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. We cannot accommodate vegan, gluten or dairy free diets.
