There are so many things to do in Osaka and you don't know what to do? Our tour is what you need. First, we will introduce the historical side of Osaka, focusing on carefully selected must-see spots such as Osaka Castle and Shitennoji. Next, we will visit the grassroots side of Osaka, the Nihonbashi and Dotonbori areas, to get a feel for the difference. We will also take you to experience ukiyo-e, an ancient Japanese traditional art. You will walk around the city in a fun and relaxing way with a locally-based English-speaking guide. This tour will show you not only the Osaka that everyone knows, but also the Osaka that only locals know.
Join from Osaka Station : We are waiting in front of the Travel Service Center OSAKA holding a "Snow Monkey Resorts" sign at 09:25
Starting point:
Osaka Station, 3-chōme-1-1 Umeda, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0001, Japan
We will enter the Osaka Castle Museum and learn about the history of Osaka and the castle itself. The castle was completed in 1597, but was destroyed many times. It was finally rebuilt by the Japanese government in 1995. The castle is a little different than when it was originally built.
After spending some time in and around the castle, we will head to Shitennoji Temple. It is the first Japanese Buddhist temple in Japan. Here you can see how Buddhism travelled from India to China and eventually landed in Japan thousands of years ago. We will learn some very interesting stories here.
One of Osaka’s leading food markets. Approximately 150 stores selling fresh seafood, vegetables, fruits, food and beverages, clothing, etc. are lined up in an area approximately 580 metres south of Sennichimae.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
