We will visit Imperial College and it is the highest institution of learning in ancient China. It contains a large number of precious stone tablets. It is adjacent to the Confucius Temple where the royal family worshipped Confucius. It shows how a large number of ancient Chinese scholars studied Confucianism under the advocacy of the royal family. Lama Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist temple. Tibetan Buddhism is different from Chinese Buddhism. Lama Temple was the early residence of two generations of emperors in the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, the style of Lama Temple is different from that of Chinese temples. Lama Temple is also one of the concentrated places for residents in Beijing to burn incense and worship Buddha.
We will visit Dong Yue Miao after lunch, Dongyue Temple is a large Taoist temple with high specifications. The Taishan God is enshrined in Dongyue Temple, and various punishments for good and evil in the underworld are described.
After our first attraction visiting, we will head to this iconic Beijing street food restaurant for lunch.
