Thang Tam Temple – A Sacred Spiritual Site in Vung Tau Thang Tam Temple is one of Vung Tau’s most famous spiritual destinations, closely associated with the worship of Ca Ong (Whale God) – the guardian deity of fishermen. The temple complex includes Thang Tam Communal House, Hon Ba Temple, and the Lady of the Five Elements Temple, each holding unique cultural and historical significance. Notably, the Whale Temple houses an enormous whale skeleton, symbolizing the deep respect of local fishermen for the sea deity.
