Inclusions

  • Please arrive at the designated location 120 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
  • Please note cash will be accepted on the trains, only credit card
  • Check-in will open 2 hours prior to departure and will close 1 hour prior to departure
  • Please note there won't be any waiting policy. In an event of latecomers, Journey Beyond reserves the rights to leave without them and the ticket will be forfeited
  • Please ensure you travel with a printed or digital copy so you have the most up-to-date information at hand
  • Final Travel Documents will be sent to you or your travel agent 30 days before departure. Please have a printed or digital copy of these Travel Documents with you when you check in and throughout your journey. And please take some time to review the itinerary and check if all details are correct.
  • The seat or cabin number will be provided to you upon check-in, which is assigned by the system in the weeks leading up to departure
  • Passengers should ensure that personal belongings such as medicine, cameras, hats, sunscreen, toiletries, enclosed footwear, etc. are packed in an overnight bag and that the items are enough for the number of days onboard

  • Passengers must be over 17 years old to participate in this experience
  • Due to the space being quite limited, please provide 2-3 alternative days at the time of booking. The confirmed final date will be sent to you and displayed on the voucher
  • Any dietary, fitness, or mobility-related issues, along with any special requirements should be noted under the Requests & Remarks section at time of booking 
  • Please leave a valid mobile phone number at the time of booking, so Journey Beyond can contact you before and during your travels
  • It is suggested to wear smart casual attire while travelling on the train
  • Cabin luggage: For the comfort and safety of guests, it is recommended that an overnight bag (e.g. an airline cabin bag or roll-aboard carry-on luggage) is packed for use on the train, as well as the off-train experiences 
  • Checked luggage: 60 kg (2 x 30 kg) per person. Please note that they will not be accessible to you during the journey
  • During the journey, the train will go through remote Australian regions, which sometimes result in severe weather events, such as flash flooding, bushfires, and may require remote location medical evacuations. It is highly recommended that passengers purchase travel insurance to protect themselves in the event of unforeseen circumstances
