Ranked among Japan's most beautiful waterfalls, Shiraito Falls features a 150-meter-wide cascade fed by spring water from the volcano. The thin white streams resemble hanging threads of silk, inspiring its name, which means "white thread" in Japanese. It takes about 6 years for the water to reach the falls from the top of the mountain, offering a glimpse into the past. In case of inclement weather preventing a visit to Shiraito Falls, the tour will proceed to Kumano Emperor Grand Shrine instead. Every autumn, the surrounding trees transform into shades of red and gold, enhancing the allure of the falls for travelers. Estimated foliage period: mid-October to late November.

- In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 18:00). Notifications will then be sent via email
- Please arrive at the designated location 20 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
- Some packages offer guaranteed departure for solo travelers; however, under normal circumstances, the minimum number of participants is 15. If the number of participants does not meet the required minimum, the tour will be canceled, and a cancellation notice will be sent via e-mail 7 days prior to departure.
- Please arrive at the meeting place on time. Late arrivals will be considered voluntary abandonment, and no refunds or compensation will be provided
- Passengers who leave the tour group and withdraw from the tour activities after the tour has started cannot request a refund of the tour fee
- The above itinerary is an estimated arrival time, and traffic conditions cannot be controlled. Please avoid arranging activities that night
- Depending on the road conditions on the day, the departure time and route of each sightseeing location may be adjusted. No refund will be given for changes in the itinerary and cancellation of attractions due to force majeure factors such as traffic and weather
- Please fasten your seat belt and remain seated while on board. Please note that you cannot get on or off the bus in the middle of the journey
- For smaller groups, the driver and accompanying staff will provide full tour services without an additional tour leader
- If unable to visit Shiraito Falls due to weather conditions, the tour will proceed to Kumano Emperor Taijinja Shrine instead
- The weather conditions will slightly affect the flower viewing period or maple viewing period. Please note that after the tour is confirmed, the tour will depart regardless of the flower/foliage situation
- In case of trip termination due to force majeure like weather conditions, the unfulfilled itinerary will be refunded based on actual expenses. However, return transportation, local accommodation, and other additional costs are at the travelers' expense
- Travelers under the age of 18 cannot join this tour alone and must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or older. If a traveler under 18 books this tour without an eligible companion, Over The Planet reserves the right to cancel the booking without providing a refund. We appreciate your understanding
- During the tour, bus and restaurant seating may be shared with fellow travelers from the same group. Seating arrangements will depend on the tour guide and the facility's setup on the day of the tour
