Singapore truly transforms into a dazzling spectacle after dark, and a night city tour is one of the best ways to experience its illuminated beauty and vibrant nocturnal life. These tours typically highlight the city's modern architecture, iconic landmarks, and cultural precincts, all bathed in stunning lights.

A Singapore night city tour is designed to showcase the city's most impressive sights when they are dramatically lit up, offering a different perspective from daytime visits. Most tours are guided, providing commentary on the history, culture, and significance of the places you see.

Itinerary

Merlion Park

The Merlion was initially designed in 1964 by Mr. Alec Fraser-Brunner, a British ichthyologist and curator of the Van Kleef Aquarium. It was created as the logo for the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board (STPB), now known as the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). The fish body represents Singapore's humble beginnings as a fishing village (then known as Temasek), while the lion head refers to Singapore's original name, "Singapura," meaning "Lion City" in Sanskrit.

Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall

In 1901, following the death of Queen Victoria, a decision was made to build a grand memorial hall in her honor. The Victoria Memorial Hall was constructed between 1903 and 1905, adjacent to the Town Hall. Designed in the Palladian style by the renowned architectural firm Swan & Maclaren, it was officially opened on October 18, 1905. To unify the two distinct buildings, a prominent 54-meter-high clock tower was built between them in 1906, connecting them with a common corridor. The clock faces and peal of bells were donated by the Straits Trading Company.

Padang
Pass-by Only

The Padang, which means "field" in Malay, is far more than just a large open field in Singapore; it's a site of immense historical and cultural significance, central to the nation's identity. In essence, the Padang is more than just a field; it's a national symbol, a historical canvas where Singapore's past, present, and future converge.
