Once you arrive in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, you’ll have free time to enjoy the city’s relaxed coastal charm. Take pictures of the ocher-colored walls, the vibrant Moulay El Hassan square, the souks, and the narrow streets of the old Medina.
Then, enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant. During your visit, explore the local markets and be amazed by the craftsmanship in the jeweler’s quarter before returning to Marrakech in the evening.
