Montserrat Early Small Group Tour with Hiking and Cable Car
Discover the only trip that arrives at 7 : 30h in Montserrat and be a lot of time without any other tourists. We will set off from Barcelona by van for 7 persons from 6 : 25h till 6 : 45h. From middle september till middle february we will see the sunrise. First we will visit the Abbey and the Black Madonna and we won't be faced with long lines. After that, you'll have two options: FIRST : Around 8 : 20h, we will start a hiking tour till the top of one peak with wonderful views. We will arrive around at 10h, so the sun won’t be still very hot! The maximum elevation gain and loss will do is 450m / 1476ft, with 6.6km / 4.10 miles. SECOND : You can hike wherever you want but by yourself. You can take the funicular (cable car under the cabin) from 9:30h. I will tell you anyway wich hiking routes i recommend you to do. At 12 : 15h you will take the cable car or the zipper train (you can choose) to the base of the mountain and then we'll take the van to arrive back to Barcelona before 13 : 30h

Barcelona
We will leave Barcelona at 6:45 am to arrive in Montserrat at 7:30 am. Pick-up will be between 6:25am and 6:45am from your hotel if you are located in the Eixample and other neighbourhoods, except, for example, Gothic, Raval, Born, etc.
At 8 am we will visit the Abbey and see the Black Madonna without queuing.
Montserrat Mountains
At 8:15h we will do a hiking route with a maximum accumulated gradient of 450m / 1476 feet, and a route of 6.6km / 4.10 miles. At approximately 11:30 am we will arrive again in the Monastery area. There will be free time until 12:15. If you don’t want to do the long route, you will have free time to do the route of your choice. I'll tell you different walking options.
