The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and while it’s a decent workout, it’s doable for most people with basic fitness. Just pace yourself and enjoy the journey up. At the summit, you’ll be greeted by an incredible sunrise view as the first light spills over Lake Batur and Mount Agung in the distance. It’s peaceful, breathtaking, and 100% worth the early start. Your guide will often prepare a simple breakfast and warm coffee at the top—nothing fancy, but it hits the spot when you're sitting above the clouds.
