Nairobi National Park
After pickup by our driver/guide at 5:30 am, proceed to Nairobi National Park for a 4-hour Game drive. Embark on a mini safari in the park in search of animals. Get to spot animals such as Lions, Rhinos, Buffalos, Leopards and many more. The park is also home to lots of bird species, and reptiles such as crocodiles. Have a view of the city skylines from the park and lots of savannah grassland in the park. Get to visit the ivory/tusks burning site and learn how the government is working to ensure an end to poaching.
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
After existing the park proceed to the Sheldrick Wildlife trust where you get to learn about the efforts made by the center to rescue baby elephants. Get to learn all the elephants by name and how the center is working to release them back to the wild.
Giraffe Centre
Proceed to the giraffe center where you get to learn about the endangered rothschild giraffe. Learn how this center works in ensuring this species is not extinct. Get to learn the difference between these species and their distinctive measures. Get to spend 1 hour at this center then later on exit and head for lunch (optional at owners' cost) at a near by restaurant.
