Participants must be aged 9+ to participate in this activity
Regrettably, a single male participate cannot take part on their own
For groups of 4 or more, classes will be held in the cooking studio, so booking 2-3 months in advance is highly recommended to ensure availability especially during peak periods such as the New Year holidays, Spring and Autumn season
The host will contact you before the experience to ensure a smooth participation. Please make sure to provide a valid email address and messaging app
Please indicate your menu preferences when making a booking, as you will be required to complete it. Everyone in your group must choose the same main dishes
Please note that the host will choose a menu on your behalf if she doesn’t hear back from you with your menu preference 4 days before the experience begins
This activity is able to accommodate the following dietary requirements as well: Pescetarian. Please inform us in advance of your dietary restrictions
You can choose one of three fillings for your Onigiri rice balls: tuna and mayonnaise, kelp, or meat
Rice will be served to those who don't choose to make onigiri or curry
A non-meat option is available for Gyoza

Take a break from the whirlwind sightseeing of Tokyo and unwind with a unique cooking experience. In this course, you’ll learn how to make traditional Japanese home-cooked meals like a real local. Whether you have some cooking experience or are a total beginner, your instructor will make sure you can learn at your own unique pace. Choose three dishes and learn step-by-step how to recreate them for yourself. Your options include miso soup, tonkatsu fried pork cutlets, okonomiyaki savory pancakes, gyoza dumplings, fried salmon, rice balls, ginger pork, mashed tofu or Japanese-style ground beef hamburg steak. Once you’ve finished cooking, enjoy your meal with delicious barley tea and a side of rice. Take home some Japanese cooking techniques to use in your own kitchen.
