We will start this tour full of adventure by going for you to the lobby of your hotel in Santiago Atitlan
Santiago Atitlan
The climb will be full of lovely landscapes, plants, and birds of the region. We recommend you have good physical condition and bring enough water for the journey (minimum 2 liters per person). The way to the summit will take around 5 hours, you will enjoy every step to get there.
Once we are at the volcano's summit, we will give you free time to relax, appreciate the views, and have lunch. (Lunch is not included. You can bring a packed lunch like a sandwich, juice, and a fruit or something easy to prepare and eat). At the end of the tour, we will take you safely back to your hotel so you can rest. We will descend from the volcano after spending time at the top. This will take us approximately 5 hours. Remember that you will be accompanied all the time by our expert guide, who is a specialist in volcanoes and local plants. We assure you that this will be an enchanting trip and you will return with incredible photos of the other volcanoes, the lake, and the villages around it.
