This private tour is a day trip to all our hand-picked sites of this famous area of Iceland. This celebrated area is rich with history and boasts powerful waterfalls, geothermal hot pools, erupting geysers, separating continental plates, luxurious hot pools and delicious food. Start the day by walking through the serene and historic grounds of Þingvellir National Park, scarred by the separating continental plates. Learn about year round food production in while eating lunch among the tomato vines of Friðheimar Farm tomato greenhouse. Be hypnotised by the surging flow of the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. Be surprised by the sudden eruptions at Geysir geothermal area. To end the day we will stop by the Sky Lagoon geothermal Spa to relax in the calming waters, over-looking the sea. Their 7 step ritual will cleanse and invigorate as you bathe under the sky. Please note, the return time to Reykjavík will depend on how much time you intend to spend in the lagoon. We recommend 2 hours.

Starting point for the day. We depart the city and travel towards the Golden Circle of Iceland.
Golden Circle Route
Sit back and relax as we travel around the Golden Circle in between the designated sights and activities.
Thingvellir National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage national park in Iceland containing wonderful scenery, geology and history. It is sitting directly between the diverging tectonic plates. It is also the sight of the first parliament in Iceland.

- Weather appropriate clothing. Rainproof clothing recommended and can be borrowed free of charge if notified ahead of time.
- Travel time is included in the duration of this tour
- The lunch can accommodate most dietary restrictions, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc. Please just inform us at booking or before the tour.
- Some walking is required at each stop but can be amended to meet most guests abilities.

Additional Information
Pickups is at 9am. You do not need to arrive earlier than this time. Please be at your designated pick up point at this time. We pick up from the designated tourist bus pick up points in downtown Reykjavik (see list to choose from), and certain hotels where it is permissible to drive and pick up from. We can only pick up from the hotels listed. If you are in downtown Reykjavik we will likely need to use one of these pick up points. If you cannot see your hotel in the list then please choose from one of the designated bus stops in central Reykjavik.

WHAT TO BRING • Waterproof jacket and pants. Even on warm days it’s best to stay dry at all times. We can lend waterproof and boots free of charge upon request. • Layers of clothing, we often get all 4 seasons in one day. • Camera with a fully charged battery as there will be ample time to take lots of pictures. • Lunch is included and we do make stops to allow you to stock up on some snacks and drinks along the way. PICKUP & DROP-OFF • Please inform us of where you are staying in Reykjavik. New restrictions within Reykjavik means buses have to pick up from designated points. We cannot pickup from AirBnB addresses. We will inform you of the nearest pick up point if you tell us where you are staying. • Pick up time for the Golden Circle Tour is at 9 am. • Drop off time: We aim to be back at your drop off point before 6 pm, but many things can affect that time so please don’t worry if we are a little late returning. It’s either for safety reasons or to give you the best experience. • Check the pickup information page on our website for more info on the pickup locations.
