Pickup included
Morning pickup at your hotel at 8:00am and transfer over 1,5 hours to Long Tan. Upon arrival, you will visit Long Tan Cross Memorial, the site of Horseshoe FSB and Long Phuoc Tunnels.
Long Tân is a village in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province, Việt Nam, at latitude 10°31′ N, and longitude 107°16′ E. When it was part of a separate South Việt Nam, it was in Phước Tuy province. It is renowned for its rubber plantations and hosts a very small population of roughly 1,200 people. This itinerary is designed for Australian and New Zealand veterans and their relatives and friends, and for visitors interested in the battle sites where those countries’ soldiers fought and died. You have time to gather and look back on one of the most well-known Australian engagements of the Vietnam War - the Battle of Long Tan (18th August 1966). Especially, the Long Tan battle field has become the memorial site which annually welcomes a number of Australian veterans.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
