You will participate in the whole tea-making procedure, not just the tea-drinking part. You can make your own bowl of tea, and can learn the tips on how to make good tea, so you can make tasty Matcha even at home! You will also have the opportunity to purchase the tea that was used at the G7 summit 2023 and the bamboo whisk on site.

This tea room is not made to demonstrate tea gatherings to the tourists, but it is a place where many local Chado-learners come and practice Urasenke Chado, which is the main school of Chado in Japan, everyday. There are many things in Japanese Chado that attract people. Of course the tasty Matcha tea, but also from the beautiful postures and movements of the well-trained hosts, to the utensils and hanging scrolls which are Japanese traditional crafts, to the seasonal flowers, to the colorful sweet. There are many elements, and what fascinates you the most may differ from one person to another, but everything is prepared for you, so you can have the best time. The experience is conducted either in Japanese or English. Upon request, you can learn the manner on how to enjoy the sweets and Matcha tea.
