Following Canneto river, walking among lemon gardens and the ruins of Medieval paper mills, the path arrives into the Integral Reserve of the Iron Valley, where it is possible to see same rare botanical species, in a fairy-tale atmosphere surrounded by waterfalls. It goes through the medieval hamlet of Pontone, one of the oldest settlement of the Amalfi Coast, and finish in the center of Amalfi. Your wilderness tour starts at Duomo Square in Amalfi, where you'll meet your private guide and head to Valle delle Ferriere Natural Reserve (Riserva Statale Valle delle Ferriere). When you arrive, begin your round-trip walking tour of this beautiful piece of Southern Italy, home to a river and views over the Amalfi Coast. Climb up a flight of stairs, cross the main stream, and follow a path that gradually descends through the forest toward the medieval village of Pontone. From here, a medieval mule track curves down toward Amalfi, amid lemon groves and maquis shrubs, with nice views over the valley. Return to Amalfi to end your tour.
