Our tour will start in Esquilino, with the tasting of the typical Roman pizza at a renowned local bakery, Forno Roscioli, one of the most iconic bakeries in the city. Try different types of pizza, Supplì on the phone and sweet wine donuts. The tour continues with delicious cold cuts and cheeses from all over Italy, at Norcineria Cecchini, opened in 1930, from San Daniele Ham to Parma Ham, Capocollo, Salami, followed by Ricotta and Pecorino Cheese, and a famous Italian appetizer, Parmigiana with Eggplant, accompanied by Prosecco. Finally, in the shadow of the Colosseum, enjoy a real Carbonara, sip a great wine and treat yourself to a fantastic tiramisu.
The tour starts in front of the metro in Piazza vittorio Emanuele II where our tour leader will welcome you. From there our tour begins with a visit to one of the most iconic bakeries in the city.
The tour continues through the streets of the Esquilino district, until you reach Via Merulana, where you can taste many delicacies at Norcineria Cecchini, opened in 1930!
