In fact you're gonna reach Bayahibe (where the boats leave to Saona) in a private van, just for your group helping you saving at least 2-3 hours compared with the regular tour with the advantage of a late pick up (8:00am) and a early drop off (around 5:00pm).

This awesome day trip will start picking you up from your hotel in Punta Cana in a private van/mini bus and taking you to the charming fishing village of Bayahibe where we will board a catamaran to Saona Island.
Bayahibe
Once in Bayahibe we're gonna reach the beach and get on board the catamaran. The cruise from the beach of Bayahibe to the island of Saona is about 2 hours via the scenic route in catamaran.
Saona Island
At Saona take time to rest on long chairs with a ”Santo libre” (Rum & Sprite) or swim the turquoise warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. Get the taste of a delicious Dominican buffet served for lunch. After taking time at the beach (around 3 hours) your next destination is the natural pool.
