This activity has been designed by a local ‘expert’, who has created a fun experience that takes you to some of the town’s highlights and the lesser-known places, away from all the tourists. The puzzles are designed to help you experience the place from a different perspective – using landmarks, murals, statues etc - and you’ll even learn some ‘fun facts’ along the way.
The self guided aspect of this activity means that you can rush through as fast as you like or stop for a drink or something to eat as you like. The app remembers your progress and even allows you to complete your adventure another day.
We aim to strike a fun balance between challenging puzzles, a fun outing with friends and family and a pleasant walk around outside.
This activity offers a fun experience at an inexpensive price. Test your observation, memory, logic and attention to detail while having a laugh with friends and family. It is recommended that you work in a group of 2-4. The clues are designed for children over the age of 12-13 but there is no restriction on taking younger children on your Adventure. The trail is around 2km long (with 20 clues) and follows the ‘Rota Acessível’ (Accessible Route) a concrete path around the town. This activity is ideal for wheelchair and pushchair users, and anyone with reduced mobility. Most of the Accessible Route is level although there is a slight incline leading up to the church square. The activity also takes you down a short, cobbled lane and crosses a few cobbled sections to rejoin the Accessible Route. The Hunt starts and ends on the waterfront. There is plenty of parking along the promenade, or if you are visiting by public transport, many of the local buses stop around here. The train station is about 5 minutes away by car.
