• The hotel is located in the core area of Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai. It is a "century-old modern Republican mansion" hidden in the city, a well-preserved century-old Republican building. Designed by a British architect, this Republican mansion has been integrated with more Shanghai style. It was originally the private residence of the "richest man" in Pudong. After many years of construction, it was completed in the early 1930s and witnessed the prosperity of Shanghai's "comprador culture" and "Oriental Paris" in the 1930s and 1940s.
• The hotel consists of a main building, an annex, a central patio and a corridor outside the house. It is a relatively rare Shanghai courtyard structure. The guest rooms are scattered in the main building and the annex, exuding a strong sense of luxury of "a big house", highlighting the Shanghai style elegance and diverse styles of Oriental Paris
