It is the most iconic memorial in the country, dedicated in 1922, honoring the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln who occupies an almost mythic and revered place in the hearts of Americans everywhere.

See the famous Reflecting Pool at the Lincoln Memorial as it stretches down the National Mall; seen in Forrest Gump and historic events such as Dr. King's I Have A Dream Speech.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

A quiet place designed for reflection, this memorial has over 58 thousand names of US casualties from this conflict etched into the black granite panels. Accommodating the wall is the Three Soliders Statue and a memorial to the female nurses who served.

Meeting Points

  • Walking Tour starts from outside the Lincoln Memorial Gifts & Cafe on Henry Bacon Drive (this is across the street from the memorial itself). We are not affiliated with anyone inside the gift shop. Please meet your guide outside on the sidewalk. This is a walking tour.

End Points

  • Our tour ends at the Washington Monument, where your guide will assist you in joining the line to go to the top for a self-guided visit where you can spend as much time as you'd like.

• Our tour ends at the Washington Monument with tickets to enter! Please plan on additional 30 minutes or so after our tour in case NPS is running behind on admission. • You must join the tour in order to enter the Washington Monument, we can not accommodate guests who are more than 15 minutes late to the tour starting location. • We are not affiliated with the National Park Service. Tickets to the Washington Monument are arranged for our guest as part of the tour. We do not sell individual tickets to the monument apart from our tour. If the monument is closed for any reason; the NPS does not refund ticket fees but will accept entrance on another day on a first come first served basis with original tickets.
