You will be given dry suits to wear over your clothing, in order to ensure that you stay warm in the cold crystal-clear water. During your 2-hour snorkeling adventure you will be able to explore all that the 82 ft. Silfra ravine has to offer, gliding effortlessly between the American and European continents. The water here is so clear that you can see straight to the bottom, and offers one of the best snorkeling experiences in the world. Tours are kept in small groups, to ensure the best experience and you will spend roughly 40 minutes in the water.

- Remember to bring: Warm base layers, preferably made from fleece or wool (not cotton), warm woolen socks, a small towel and a change of clothes (just in case)
- You will be provided with a thermal undersuit and dry suit to wear over your clothing while snorkeling
- Please note that all participants must be able to swim to be able to participate in the tour
- Minimum age is 12 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian booked on the same tour.
- Wear glasses? Since you'll be wearing snorkeling goggles to see underwater there can be nothing in the way of the seal therefore you cannot wear glasses underneath the goggles. In this case, contact lenses or your own prescription goggles are recommended.
- Medical issues outlined in our handbook require doctors approval to join the tour. Some conditions mean guests cannot participate.
- Pregnant people are unable to participate due to the risk of water entering the suit

It is in Thingvellir National Park. To find where you may park your car please type “Thingvellir Parking P5” into Google Maps (parking fees apply). If you are driving from Reykjavik please allow at least one hour for your journey and stay informed on road conditions. At the P5 parking lot you will find a machine where you can purchase a parking ticket to display on your dashboard (the machine accepts both credit and debit cards). To meet your guide: Walk 400m back along the road until you reach the car park with all the snorkel and dive vans, and look for our guides and van. There are other companies at the site so make sure you go to the right one and show your voucher. Please be ready to meet your guide no later than 15 minutes prior to your tour departure.
