Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Mexico in your way to Cuernavaca, a wonderful town and former home of Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés. Let your guide take you on a panoramic tour of the cathedral and the Cortes Palace. Then visit Taxco, known as the Silver City, with winding cobblestone streets, tile-roofed buildings, cozy squares, and a strong Old World ambiance that has survived through hundreds of years. Visit one of Mexico’s grandest churches, Santa Prisca.
Choose to visit an ancient mine and learn about the lives and work of the inhabitants of the city before the Spanish came to America. Descend in an authentic mining elevator and travel through a beautifully illuminated 150-meter tunnel, appreciating the sparkling of the walls due to the precious metals still found in them.
