Saxman Native Village
Saxman has the world's largest collection of authentic Native Totem Poles.Learn about traditional tools and techniques as you watch the carvers at work. Listen to the stories and legends narrated by your guide.
Herring Cove
Your Trolley takes you 9 miles south to Herring Cove where black bears, eagles, herons and other wildlife are often spotted feeding on Alaska's plentyfull salmon. Whales can sometimes be spotted along the way.

Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 20 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
All of our tours leave and return from the downtown Cruise Ship dock, berths 1 thru 4. We can make arrangements to pick up and return guests to berths 3 & 4 if they have difficulty walking to the Ketchikan Visitor's Bureau at berth #2. All guests need to check-in at booth #17 inside the KVB at least 20 minutes prior to departure.
Meeting / End Points
- If you are on a NCL ship you will have to take the Ward Cove shuttle to town. It is approx. a 20 minute ride to berth #4 where you will be dropped off. We have a red booth with yellow trim at berth #4 where you can check in instead of walking to the Ketchikan Visitor's Bureau at berth #2.
