Wieliczka is famous not only in Poland, but also in the world thanks to the beautiful salt mine, which is visited by over 1 million tourists every year. The city has been known as the mining center of this resource since the thirteenth century and the mine was founded in the name of St. Kinga. The mine is a labyrinth of 300 km underground sidewalks. It is a valuable monument of material culture and technical thinking.
The visit to the mine takes approximately 2.5 hours. The travel time from Krakow to Wieliczka takes about 30 minutes.
Pickup included
You will be picked up from your desired address by our driver and taken to Wieliczka. After about 30 minutes you will reach the salt mine in Wieliczka, where the driver will lead you to the entrance and hand out the entrance tickets. A German-speaking salt mine guide awaits you there. After about 2.5 hours of sightseeing, the driver will take you back to Krakow. Visits to the mine take place in groups of up to 30 people. We will let you know the exact pickup time by 6:00 p.m. the day before the tour.
