We will enjoy a relaxing catamaran cruise through the historic and challenging Beagle Channel, home of countless historic shipwrecks in these icy waters south of the Strait of Magellan.
We sail around the Isla de los Pájaros where we appreciate the Fuegian birdlife observing Skuas, Steamer Ducks, Cauquenes, Kelp Gulls and Grey Gulls; and the Isla de los Lobos where we can observe specimens of South American sea lions and sometimes two-haired sea lions. Both islands belong to the Bridges Archipelago.
When you arrive at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Illuminators), known touristically as the Lighthouse of the End of the World, you can appreciate the colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants; and also hear the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes in 1930. At the end of the journey you will be amazed at the view of the mountain cordon surrounding the city of Ushuaia and its sumptuous nature surrounding it. It is a tour of great historical value and Scenic the one we made, visiting privileged and interesting points throughout the trip, that you can discover by sailing the waters of the Beagle Channel. In a pleasant and quiet tour.
