Next, cruise south along the bay, soaking in stunning coastal views, passing by beautiful secluded beaches like Colomitos, Las Animas, and Quimixto before arriving at the secluded cove of Majahuitas. Here, you'll have the chance to snorkel in its crystal-clear waters, exploring colorful reefs and underwater wildlife. After your swim, continue to Yelapa, a charming village accessible only by boat or foot. Venture through the town and up to the breathtaking Yelapa Waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pool. End the day by relaxing at one of Yelapa’s beachfront restaurants, where you can indulge in fresh seafood and local dishes while enjoying the serene atmosphere and ocean views.

The tour begins on the picturesque Mismaloya Beach, a charming and vibrant spot with golden sands framed by lush green hills and the sparkling blue waters of Banderas Bay. Guests gather at the designated meeting point, where they are warmly greeted by the friendly crew. After a quick orientation and safety briefing, the group is invited to board the boat, which is anchored just offshore. To reach it, guests may walk through the shallow, clear water or step into a waiting skiff that transports them directly to the boat. As the engine hums to life, the tour sets off, offering breathtaking views of the beach and surrounding jungle as they fade into the distance.
Los Arcos de Mismaloya
The journey quickly takes on a magical quality, with gentle sea breezes and the promise of adventure ahead. The first stop is the iconic Los Arcos Marine Geological Sanctuary, visible shortly after departure, its towering granite islands rising dramatically from the sea. Along the way, the guide shares fascinating stories and facts about the region’s history, wildlife, and stunning natural beauty. As you approach Los Arcos, marvel at the massive granite rock formations, some reaching over 80 feet in height. These iconic arches are sculpted by centuries of ocean erosion, creating natural tunnels and caves that are perfect for exploration. Above the water, the islets are home to colonies of seabirds like pelicans, frigatebirds, and blue-footed boobies. Your guide will point out these species. This is a photographer’s paradise. Capture the dramatic landscapes, unique rock formations, and naturally formed arches with in the islands to commemorate your visit.
Majahuitas Beach
As the boat heads south, you'll hug the lush, jungle-covered coastline. The view includes rocky cliffs, small hidden beaches, and the Sierra Madre mountains descending into the sea. Keep an eye out for migrating humpback whales (in season) or playful dolphins riding the boat’s wake. Along the way we will pass by charming spots like Colomitos, Playa Las Ánimas, Quimixto and Majahuitas where you could stop for a swim or a quick look around.Along the way we make a stop for Snorkeling at Majahuitas. A magical experience, offering visitors a chance to explore one of the most pristine and beautiful underwater ecosystems on the Pacific coast. Located between Quimixto and Yelapa, accessible only by boat, this hidden gem is surrounded by lush jungle-covered hills and calm, clear waters.
