The scenic beauty and important message of the memorial that honors the 16 million Americans who served and the over 400,000 that died in the world's most cataclysmic war are amazing.
This 7.5 acre memorial to America's longest serving President and one of the 20th Century's most important figures sits on the Tidal Basin and offers a fascinating look at America during the Great Depression and World War II.
