National Treasure Inuyama Castle & Castle Town
It is one of the five castles currently designated as national treasures. From the top floor of the castle tower, you can see the Kiso River, Gifu Castle, and the buildings of Nagoya Station. In the castle town, visitors can enjoy eating and shopping at cafes in town houses and stores selling fashionable accessories and traditional crafts.
Nagoya Castle & Kinshachi Yokocho
Nagoya Castle is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Nagoya! Nagoya Castle was built by Ieyasu Tokugawa as the last fortress for unifying the country. In addition to the exterior of the castle tower, the Honmaru Goten, the residence of the Owari feudal lord and the domain's government office, is also a must-see.
There is also a commercial zone called Kinshachi Yokocho under Nagoya Castle, where visitors can enjoy Nagoya meshi and souvenir shopping.
