Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind
The Royal Palace of Winds or Breeze, Hawa Mahal, is as unique as it sounds. One of the most important places to visit in Jaipur. Constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798, Hawa Mahal is a five-story extension of the form of a honeycomb. This uniquely built monument has 953 small windows, also called Jharokhas, embellished with intricate latticework.
