Centro Historico de Sintra

Quinta da Regaleira

Then we visit the Quinta da Regaleira - one of the most surprising and enigmatic monuments of Sintra Cultural Landscape. In this famous and mystical place, you will find exotic gardens, lakes, waterfalls, caves, Masonic architecture and the initiatory well.

Arriving in Sintra, we will visit the Pena Palace, one of the seven wonders of Portugal, situated on the top of the mountain, allowing you to enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Sintra National Park, Monserrate Palace, Seteais, Moorish Castle, Lisbon and Cascais.

Later, we visit the westernmost point of mainland Europe - Cabo da Roca - can contemplate its famous lighthouse and a cliff with a magnificent view of the sea.

In this place you can admire this hole in the rocks with entrance to the sea.

Cascais

Cascais is a tourist town with a large yacht harbor and several small sandy beaches. You can walk by the bay or simply admire the scenery.

The time in Sintra was the highlight of our Portugal visit. Our guide, Tiago, was extremely passionate and informative about Portugal and her history. While the tour and guide were excellent, the rain that day diluted the experience. In addition, the lunch option (was too much food for lunch) and small plate ala-carte options would be more in line the late afternoon lunch.
