Come and discover in a private tour, the classification of 1855 and the prestigious Médoc wine estates on the legendary Route des Châteaux. We take care of the organization of your day. You will visit 3 castles during the day and make many photo stops in front of the most emblematic ones like Château Palmer, Château Margaux, Château Beychevelle, Château Pichon Baron, Château Lafon-Rochet, Cos d´Estournel… You will be guided during each of your visits by the guides of the castles, and you will taste at the end of each visit 2 or 3 of the wines of the property.

The starting point of your oenological journey will make you discover very colourful, powerful and harmonious wines and the terroirs on which they are produced. These wines will defy time in your cellar. The Médoc, which extends over 80 km, is a peninsula that takes shape north of the Bordeaux conurbation and ends at the Pointe des Graves. The wine route, which crosses it, is long and winding and gives you time to discover a mosaic of plots, dotted with castles of very different styles, sometimes flamboyant, sometimes romantic, sometimes austere. You will be amazed by this mythical road.
Dauzac is the first Château to border the mythical Route des Châteaux. Fifth Classified Growth in the Margaux appellation. It was his steward who invented the "Bordeaux mixture", made from copper sulphate and water. Still used today, this treatment is one of the few authorized in organic farming. Second Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien. Until the 19th century, the Léoville estate formed one of the largest and oldest crus in the Médoc. The vineyard extended from Château Beychevelle to Château Latour. Divided into three parts, the Châteaux Léoville Las Cases, Léoville Barton and Léoville Poyferré remain today. The castle guide will share with you the secrets of working the vines, the different techniques used for vinification and the methods of aging in oak barrels.
