We meet our local tour guide at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the island's bridge. Upon arrival, we'll get a detailed safety introduction and we may try our electric bike on the parking lot. Your electric bike is shaped like a Fat Bike, with large tires and a heavy frame. The powerful electric assistance can support you up to a speed of 24 km/h / 15 mi/h ! You will be trying the ebikes in the parking lot and you will get an overview of the tour
Ferme Francois Gosselin
Our first stop will be in this 6th generation farm specializing in berries . We will taste these amazing berries with an amazing view on the St-Lawrence River .
Le Foyer Notre-Dame d'Orléans is an historical landmark of the island . The domain is a peacefull retreat center that overlook the St Lawrence River .

- Although the Ile d'Orleans is known to be a cyclists' paradise, there is NO BIKE PATH on the island; you'll ride on the road's secure shoulder

- From Quebec City, take Highway 40 / 440 - E and exit at ILE D'ORLEANS Cross the bridge and head straight on PREVOST STREET The rental shop is situated at the MOTEL ILE D'ORLEANS Without own car, simply take a taxi; it's a 15 minutes drive from Old Qebec

Please arrive 30 min in advance or phone Quebec Aventure Tours to let them know you'll be late. Consider bringing a windbreaker, closed shoes, a scarf and hand gloves, especially in spring and fall. In case of heavy rain or storm, the activity will be cancelled. In such case, you'll be given the choice between taking part in the tour on an alternative date (depending on availability) or a full refund. You'll be informed at least one hour before the beginning of the tour.
