Casa di Giulietta

Around the corner from this dazzling square we will find the house of one of Verona’s most famous lovers, Shakespeare’s Juliet. The courtyard from where you can see the famous (and infamous) balcony breathes love and has evidence of it, literally, all over the walls. The house is where the tragic drama Romeo and Juliet took place.

Piazza dei Signori

But Verona is not only the town of love, it’s also one of the most important medieval towns of North Italy. That’s why, in the heart of the historical center, we can find the headquarters of the powerful Scaligeri family: Signori Square or, as the Veronese call it, Dante Square, nowadays one of the most romantic corners of the town.
