SUP YOGA is practicing yoga on a SUP board. Explore something new, be open to falling in, land & liquid yoga with the magical Swan River. SUP Yoga improves balance, strength, core & the opportunity to relax on the water for all yoga and SUP levels. We start the class with a slow yoga flow on the land to awaken the body, then paddle out on an inflatable SUP board, a short distance & continue our slow yoga flow on the board. You have the option of staying on your knees or seated if unsure about standing up just yet. There are modifications you can do. We always finish our classes with savasana; a divine pose to relax on the water, in the fresh air, our final resting pose. We are at the mercy of the weather so we may be a sole land yoga class. No experience is necessary & all equipment is included. Wear something comfortable (swimmers/yoga pants. nothing loose) Bring a change of clothing in case you go for a dip. Please bring water & arrive wearing sunscreen. Arrive 15 minutes early for a safety briefing, we may ask that you help with the inflating or deflating of the boards. There is public transport namely buses but please check the timetables for a weekend or public holiday class
